THE CHALLENGE

Start with the tension.

Five novels needed to feel like one collection without collapsing into generic darkness, gore, or one repeated plot. The shared fear had to become legible before the stories were explained - and each book still needed its own anatomy.

02 / THE ORGANIZING IDEA

Treat identity like an archive under pressure: memory can fail, names can disappear, testimony can contradict itself, and a person can return incorrectly.

03

THE DESIGN LOGIC

How the system works.

01

THE SHARED ANATOMY

Memory, names, silence, testimony, return, place, forgetting, and the body connect every story.

02

ERASURE BEFORE DEATH

The collection’s horror comes from being undone - not simply from being killed.

03

FIVE DISTINCT FAILURES

Each novel breaks the self through a different mechanism: imitation, repetition, silence, faith, or memory.

04

THE ARCHIVE AS INTERFACE

Search states, damaged records, and identity errors turn navigation into part of the unease.

04

THE IDENTITY

The idea becomes visible.

The identity behaves like damaged evidence: formal enough to be trusted, unstable enough to make that trust feel dangerous.

BRAND THESIS

Not the fear of dying. The fear of being undone.

THE VISUAL LANGUAGE

FIVE WAYS TO DISAPPEAR.

Each cover is a different failure of recognition. Together, the five images read like recovered records from the same impossible archive - specific in subject, consistent in dread.

06

APPLICATION

AN ANTHOLOGY WITH ONE NERVOUS SYSTEM.

The covers, archive language, and thematic index create a collection architecture that can hold five different stories while making their shared obsession impossible to miss.

THE SYSTEM, APPLIEDAN ANTHOLOGY WITH ONE NERVOUS SYSTEM.

The covers, archive language, and thematic index create a collection architecture that can hold five different stories while making their shared obsession impossible to miss.

07

EXPERIENCE

THE READER ENTERS THROUGH A BROKEN RECORD.

The site opens as an identity search that cannot resolve. From there, the archive exposes the collection’s themes, shared anatomy, and five novels without explaining away the fear.

01

FAILED AUTHENTICATION

The opening makes loss of identity a lived interaction.

02

THEMATIC INDEX

Memory, names, testimony, and forgetting orient the collection.

03

STORY DOSSIERS

Each novel retains mystery while declaring its unique mechanism of fear.

THE RESULT

A system with gravity.

The anthology gains a thesis, not just a look. Five different novels now share one disturbing logic: horror that erases before it kills - and an experience that makes the audience feel that erasure begin.
