THE CHALLENGE

Start with the tension.

Premium e-bikes often collapse into the same language: carbon, speed, utility, restraint. EQUUS needed six models to feel meaningfully different without becoming six unrelated brands - and it needed to make advanced mobility feel instinctive, personal, and desirable.

02 / THE ORGANIZING IDEA

Do not sell bicycles as machines. Classify them as kinetic breeds - each formed around a different instinct, terrain, and rider behavior.

03

THE DESIGN LOGIC

How the system works.

01

BREED ARCHITECTURE

Colt, Pacer, Mustang, Scout, Bronco, and Stallion turn a product catalog into a memorable taxonomy.

02

FERAL SOPHISTICATION

Controlled editorial restraint meets animal language, raw material, and physical tension.

03

EARN YOUR PATINA

Copper and brass are allowed to weather with rain, friction, and time. Ownership becomes visible.

04

STANCE BEFORE SPECS

Every breed is introduced through posture and presence before range, speed, and hardware enter the story.

04

THE IDENTITY

The idea becomes visible.

The marque is built as a dark stable: a restrained master identity with a breed system expressive enough to make every product feel alive.

THE VISUAL LANGUAGE

SIX BREEDS. SIX INSTINCTS.

The imagery treats the lineup like portraiture, not inventory. Matte carbon holds the family together while stance, terrain, and metallic accents express each breed’s purpose.

06

APPLICATION

THE CATALOG BECOMES A STABLE.

A repeatable product portrait system gives retail, launch, editorial, and model communications one unmistakable voice while allowing every breed to hold its own ground.

THE SYSTEM, APPLIEDTHE CATALOG BECOMES A STABLE.

A repeatable product portrait system gives retail, launch, editorial, and model communications one unmistakable voice while allowing every breed to hold its own ground.

07

EXPERIENCE

A DIGITAL SHOWROOM WITH A PULSE.

The website introduces the creed, lets riders move breed by breed, and turns material aging into a point of pride. Motion carries acceleration; typography carries control.

01

BREED SELECTOR

The lineup is organized by instinct and use, not a wall of specifications.

02

MATERIAL STORY

The patina narrative turns wear from a defect into evidence of ownership.

03

THE CREED

A manifesto gives the product family an attitude larger than transportation.

THE RESULT

A system with gravity.

EQUUS becomes a scalable mobility platform rather than another product line. Naming, materials, imagery, and motion all reinforce the same belief: the world built an appliance; this brand bred an animal.
