THE CHALLENGE

Start with the tension.

For more than 30 years, Universal's Jurassic franchise has fueled the world's fascination with extinct dinosaurs. The real-world irony is harder to ignore: while millions remain captivated by creatures lost 65 million years ago, living species are being erased now by poaching, habitat loss, dams, clear-cutting, highways, power grids, and industrial noise. The challenge is to turn one of entertainment's largest cultural footprints into a united, credible, and measurable conservation effort.

02 / THE ORGANIZING IDEA

Universal created a world united by dinosaurs. Now it can unite that world to prevent the next extinction.

03

THE DESIGN LOGIC

How the system works.

01

UNIVERSAL OPENS THE DOOR

The rights holder becomes the Hero Host, opening its Jurassic IP, distribution network, theme parks, streaming platform, and cultural memory to the movement.

02

SCIENCE SETS THE PRIORITIES

WWF, IUCN, Audubon, the Rainforest Alliance, The Nature Conservancy, and other conservation bodies direct the work and verify the claims.

03

EVERY INDUSTRY HAS A JOB

Media changes perception. Infrastructure protects movement. Heavy industry reduces the damage built into roads, dams, forestry, energy, and development.

04

THE WORLD FUNDS THE WORK

Tickets, streams, products, donations, and partner commitments flow into a transparent Universal Conservation Fund with public reporting.

04

THE IDENTITY

The idea becomes visible.

Universal and Jurassic act as the host brand. The system uses the franchise's cinematic black, fossil bone, warning red, jungle green, amber light, metallic globe language, and monumental title treatment, then gives every coalition partner a clear place inside the same world.

THE VISUAL LANGUAGE

DEEP TIME MEETS THE EMERGENCY NOW.

The campaign begins with the scale and awe of Jurassic history, then moves decisively toward living animals, damaged habitats, and the systems capable of protecting them. Dinosaurs create recognition. The species still here become the reason to act.

WHY I MADE THIS

The film that taught me to look backward inspired me to protect what comes next.

Growing up, Jurassic Park shaped my fascination with dinosaurs, science, and the natural world. It showed me that entertainment can do more than capture attention. It can create curiosity that lasts a lifetime.

The 66th Million is a personal passion project built from that belief. I wanted to explore how the franchise that introduced millions of people to extinction could help rally them against the next one. The result is a campaign imagined at the scale of the problem: one story, one global coalition, and one world coming together to protect what remains.

One world. One living future.

For more than 30 years, Universal's Jurassic franchise has fueled the world's fascination with extinct dinosaurs. Now Universal can use that reach to confront the ultimate real-world irony: while millions obsess over creatures nature selected for extinction, thousands of living species are being erased by human development.

Ten interventions. One shared future.

This is one campaign, not a collection of disconnected collaborations. Every partner has a defined role, and every activation turns Universal's cultural reach into action.

01 / MEDIA + CULTURAL REFRAMINGUNIVERSAL STUDIOS × WORLD WILDLIFE FUND

NATURE DIDN'T DO THIS. WE DID.

UNIVERSAL'S ANCHOR ROLE

Universal integrates an interactive, in-movie portal directly into Jurassic Park streaming releases on Peacock and theatrical re-releases.

HERO ACTIVATION

During the iconic lunch scene, an interactive prompt invites viewers to tap Dr. Malcolm's Point. The film pauses briefly to reveal real-time status reports on critically endangered animals currently threatened by human development in the 66th Million.

ACTIONABLE MECHANIC

The outdoor campaign places a T. rex beside a Black Rhino: one selected against by nature 65 million years ago, the other selected against by poaching and habitat loss today.

DINOSAURS HAD THEIR CHANCE. THEY DON'T.
02 / MEDIA + CULTURAL REFRAMINGINGEN × RAINFOREST ALLIANCE

DEFORESTATION, NOT DINOSAURS

UNIVERSAL'S ANCHOR ROLE

Universal opens the vaulted InGen IP to serve as a satirical corporate mouthpiece against real-world deforestation.

HERO ACTIVATION

A sleek corporate keynote video released across Universal's official channels compares the extraordinary cost of bringing back a T. rex with the devastating ease of destroying the Sumatran Tiger's habitat.

ACTIONABLE MECHANIC

InGen certifies Rainforest Alliance products across Universal theme parks, directing visitors toward sustainably harvested goods.

16 / WHY UNIVERSAL WINNING MATTERS

The host becomes the proof.

01

IT ELEVATES THE FRANCHISE

Jurassic moves from dinosaur entertainment into a lasting environmental stewardship platform without abandoning the wonder that made the franchise global.

02

IT USES UNRIVALED REACH

Theaters, Peacock, television, theme parks, products, and partners give one movement hundreds of millions of possible entry points.

03

IT CREATES THE ULTIMATE NARRATIVE

Universal becomes the studio that did not simply profit from extinct animals. It used their cultural power to protect the living ones.

THE MASTER CAMPAIGN PROMISE

The dinosaurs are already gone. The species disappearing now are not history yet. Entertainment made the world look backward in wonder. This movement asks the whole world to look around, recognize what is being lost, and act together while there is still time.

ONE WORLD. ONE COALITION.
THE NEXT EXTINCTION IS OURS TO STOP.
08

THE RESULT

A system with gravity.

The 66th Million is a self-initiated master campaign designed to show how one rights holder could transform a global entertainment franchise into a coordinated conservation platform. Universal remains the Hero Host and cultural anchor, while scientific partners guide the work and industry partners change the systems within their control. This concept is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or commissioned by Universal Studios, Peacock, WWF, IUCN, Audubon, LEGO, National Geographic, Volvo, Jeep, Google, The Nature Conservancy, Caterpillar, the Rainforest Alliance, Patagonia, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Garmin, the Peregrine Fund, or their representatives.
