SOME BLUES DESERVE PROTECTION.
ENTER THE SYSTEM ↓CAN LUXURY
CARRY THE
WEIGHT?
BLEU DE CHANEL is built around independence, depth, and a man who defies convention. The ocean is the clearest physical expression of that idea, yet the Great Pacific Garbage Patch holds an estimated 100 million kilograms of plastic.
A donation campaign would sit beside the product. This concept asks the product to do the work: recovered material becomes the collectible object, refilling becomes the funding behavior, and traceability becomes part of the luxury experience.
THE WORLD'S
MOST ICONIC BLUE
SHOULD PROTECT
THE DEEPEST ONE.
This is not a fragrance with a cause attached. Recovered material becomes the cap. The numbered object unlocks its origin record. Refilling funds verified removal. Without the ocean system, this edition does not exist.
BLUE IS NOT
DECORATION.
IT IS THE IDEA.
The strongest speculative collaborations begin with brand behavior. BLEU already owns a language of freedom, depth, control, and restraint. This concept extends those values through material innovation, ritual, scarcity, and proof.
THE COLOR IS ALREADY THE EQUITY.
BLEU is built on depth, freedom, and the emotional force of blue. The ocean does not add a new symbol. It gives the existing one a responsibility.
THE INTERVENTION IS MATERIAL.
The idea is rooted in craft, refillability, weight, finish, and traceable material behavior rather than promotional sustainability language.
RESTRAINT CREATES THE REVEAL.
The campaign begins with desire and lets the proof arrive slowly. The object remains iconic while the system behind it changes.

The campaign does not lead with damage. It leads with stillness, scale, and desire. Only after the ocean feels rare does the system reveal what is required to protect it.
THE WASTE MUST BECOME THE OBJECT.
Recovered material is not hidden in secondary packaging. It becomes the most tactile part of the bottle and gives every edition a distinct material record.
THE CLAIM MUST HAVE A RECEIPT.
Each cap links to its recovery batch, source system, processing record, refill history, and the campaign's live funding ledger.
THE REFILL MUST FUND THE WORK.
The refill is not only a lower-waste format. Its gross revenue is proposed as ring-fenced support for a dedicated river-plastic intervention.

ONE SOURCE.
NO TWO ALIKE.
Each cap is proposed as a pressure-molded blend of validated recovered ocean plastics, including suitable fishing-gear polymers where technically viable. No added dye erases the material's history.
MARINE MARBLING
Recovered hard ocean plastic is sorted by polymer, cleaned, and pressure-molded without added color. Natural variation creates a one-of-one cobalt, slate, indigo, and teal surface.
RECYCLED GUNMETAL BRASS
A weighted internal structure preserves the cold touch, balance, and magnetic closure expected from a luxury fragrance object.
EMBEDDED NFC
A concealed chip opens the batch record, source coordinates, refill history, and live project ledger without adding visible technology to the cap.
THE CLAIM
HAS A
COORDINATE.
The digital layer is deliberately quiet. A tap opens a batch record, not a brand film. It shows what was recovered, where it entered the system, who processed it, and how the owner's refills connect to funded cleanup operations.

BATCH S03-06A
CAP RECOGNIZED
The bottle becomes the key. No QR label is added to the object.
BATCH S03 / PROPOSED
Recovery area, collection date, polymer mix, and processing partner appear in one record.
FROM SOURCE TO SYSTEM
The experience connects the cap to live cleanup operations and published funding.
A NEW ENTRY, NOT A NEW BOTTLE
Boutique refills update the owner record and the campaign impact ledger.
NOT A STATION.
A RITUAL.
A monolith of dark navy glass and brushed titanium turns refilling into a deliberate service moment. The screen does not play a generic sustainability loop. It carries live project telemetry, published funding, and verified recovery totals.

ONE KILOMETER
OF LIGHT.
ONE KILOGRAM
PER STEP.
A single illuminated cobalt path floats across a harbor at night. It carries no logo at its entrance. Visitors walk through darkness toward a final monolith that reveals the idea: every step represents one verified kilogram removed through the program.
The installation turns an abstract impact number into distance, effort, and memory. The image is simple enough to feel Chanel and strange enough to travel without paid explanation.

1 BOTTLE.
1 KG.
Every numbered bottle funds the verified removal and responsible handling of at least one kilogram of ocean-bound or ocean plastic. The number is a proposed campaign standard, not a current Chanel or partner commitment.
Numbered bottles create a clear first commitment: a minimum of 19,100 verified kilograms funded.
Every authenticated boutique refill funds another verified kilogram and adds it to the owner's record.
Only partner-verified kilograms appear in the public ledger. Shortfalls remain visible instead of being converted into optimistic estimates.
DESERVES
OUR DEEPEST RESPECT.
LUXURY ABOVE.
PROOF BELOW.
Macro material photography carries the emotional story. Swiss structure, technical labels, and live data carry the evidence. Neither is allowed to imitate the other.
ONE IDEA.
FOUR EXPRESSION STATES.
The campaign never explains everything at once. Film creates desire. The installation creates discovery. Product portraiture makes scarcity visible. Outdoor delivers the measurable proof.

THE DEEP BLEU.
A bottle rests half submerged in silence. Light moves beneath the surface while the camera barely moves. No statistic appears until the final frame.
SOME BLUES DESERVE PROTECTION.

19,100 BLUES.
NOT ONE REPEATED.
Every portrait treats the cap like a material specimen. The edition number and recovery coordinate replace decorative campaign language.

DEEP BLEU.
PROTECTS THE
DEEPEST ONE.
1 VERIFIED KG.
FROM EDITION
TO INSTITUTION.
The first bottle is the entry point, not the finish line. Each year expands the same system through refilling, material culture, public experience, and transparent reporting.
THE NUMBERED EDITION
19,100 traceable bottles establish the material, impact standard, and collector community.
THE REFILL NETWORK
Refill Sanctuaries expand from five flagships to a wider boutique program with published recovery totals.
THE ARTIST CAP SERIES
Material artists interpret recovered blue polymers without hiding their source or adding synthetic color.
THE UNDERWATER EXHIBITION
An immersive exhibition turns recovery data, ocean sound, and deep-water light into a public cultural experience.
THE BLUE REPORT
A rigorously designed annual report publishes funding, verified kilograms removed, material outcomes, and what did not work.
THE THINKING
IS THE
LUXURY.
The proposal connects brand meaning, material behavior, digital traceability, retail ritual, and environmental funding through one object. The cap is collectible because of its source. The refill matters because of what it funds. The technology matters because it makes the claim inspectable.
